Making Purchases<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The prices and descriptions of the goods and services sold on the website are listed next to each item or service.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To place an order, add the desired items to your shopping cart, fill in all the required fields, and select the most suitable delivery or pickup method. The total cost of the order, including shipping, is displayed on the screen before confirmation. To complete your order, proceed to checkout.  <\/span><\/p><h5><strong>3. Payment Terms<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The currency used on the website is the euro (EUR). You can pay for your purchases using the payment methods provided by the payment platform <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/makecommerce.lv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">makecommerce.lv<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Maksekeskus AS):<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Online banking payments in Latvia: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, and Luminor<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visa \/ Mastercard card payments<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The personal data required to process a payment is transferred to the licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The contract takes effect upon successful receipt of payment in the Seller\u2019s account. If, for any reason, the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will be notified, and the amount paid will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receipt of the notification. <\/span><\/p><h5><strong>4. Delivery and Receipt of Goods<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can receive your purchased items in the following ways:<\/span><\/p><ul><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Pickup at the Museum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Items can be picked up free of charge at the museum located at 22A Kantora Street, Riga, during business hours (Fri, Sat, Sun 12:00\u201318:00) or at another time agreed upon in advance. Please wait for a notification that your order is ready before arriving, and then call <a href=\"tel:26414162\">+371 26414162<\/a> to arrange a pickup time.<\/span><\/li><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Delivery to a pickup point<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 Items are delivered to the selected pickup point (delivery partners are specified during checkout).<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shipping costs are displayed before the order is confirmed. Items are delivered within 1\u20135 business days after receipt of payment. In exceptional cases, the Seller has the right to deliver the goods within 45 calendar days, provided the Buyer is notified in advance.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Museum tickets and other digital products are sent to the email address provided by the Buyer and are not physically delivered.<\/span><\/p><h5><strong>5. Right of Withdrawal<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The buyer (consumer) has the right to return the item within 14 calendar days of receiving it, without providing a reason.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To exercise the right of withdrawal, the item must not have been used for any purpose other than inspection, and the Buyer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the item. If the item has been used improperly, damaged, or if its original packaging is missing, the Seller has the right to reduce the refund amount in proportion to the decrease in the item\u2019s value. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact the Seller by email at <\/span><a href=\"mailto:info@automuzejs.lv\"><b>info@automuzejs.lv<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">within 14 days of receiving the item. The Buyer is required to return the item to the Seller no later than 14 days after submitting the cancellation notice. Upon receipt of the returned item, the Seller will refund the Buyer\u2019s payments within 14 days.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seller has the right to withhold the refund until the item has been returned or confirmation of its return has been received.<\/span><\/p><p><b>The right of withdrawal does not apply:<\/b><\/p><ul><li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">contracts for entertainment events (such as museum admission tickets), if a specific date for the event or its performance is specified (<a class=\"underline underline underline-offset-2 decoration-1 decoration-current\/40 hover:decoration-current focus:decoration-current\" href=\"https:\/\/likumi.lv\/ta\/id\/266462#p22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Paragraph 22 of Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 255 of May 20, 2014, \u201cRegulations on Distance Contracts\u201d<\/a>);<\/li><li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">if the Buyer is a legal entity (<a class=\"underline underline underline-offset-2 decoration-1 decoration-current\/40 hover:decoration-current focus:decoration-current\" href=\"https:\/\/likumi.lv\/ta\/id\/23309\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Consumer Protection Law<\/a> \u2014the right of withdrawal applies only to consumers, i.e., natural persons);<\/li><li class=\"font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2\">other exceptional cases specified in other regulatory acts.<\/li><\/ul><h5><strong>6. Nonconformity of the Goods with the Terms of the Contract<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Seller is liable for any non-conformity of the sold goods with the terms of the contract or for any defects in accordance with the provisions of applicable laws and regulations. If the purchased goods have defects, the Buyer has the right to request that they be repaired free of charge or exchanged for new goods; if this is not possible, the Buyer is entitled to a refund. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Buyer must notify the Seller of any nonconformity of the goods as soon as possible by email <\/span><a href=\"mailto:info@automuzejs.lv\"><b>info@automuzejs.lv<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and, if possible, including photos and the order number. The Seller will provide a written response to the Buyer\u2019s complaint within 15 days.<\/span><\/p><h5><strong>7. Processing of Personal Data<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seller processes personal data in accordance with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/automuzejs.lv\/privatuma-politika\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Privacy Policy<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which is available on the website.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The personal data necessary for fulfilling the order is transferred to the payment service provider (Maksekeskus AS) and to delivery service providers to the extent necessary to ensure payment and delivery.<\/span><\/p><h5><strong>8. Dispute Resolution Procedures<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With regard to matters not covered by these terms and conditions, the Buyer and the Seller agree to comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Parties shall resolve all disputes through mutual negotiations or correspondence. If an agreement cannot be reached, the dispute may be referred to the Consumer Rights Protection Center (Br\u012bv\u012bbas iela 55, Riga, LV-1010, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ptac.gov.lv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.ptac.gov.lv<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) or to a court of the Republic of Latvia.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The buyer also has the right to use the European Union&#8217;s online dispute resolution platform: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/consumers\/odr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ec.europa.eu\/consumers\/odr<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><h5><strong>9. Final Provisions<\/strong><\/h5><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The seller reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. The version of these terms and conditions in effect at the time of purchase applies to the specific order.
