For Schools

Retro Car Museum offers educational lessons tailored to the curriculum for students.

We are participating in the national program “Latvian School Bag.”

We invite students to embark on an exciting journey through time, where, in the 20th… Bicycles, motorcycles, and cars tell the story of people’s ingenuity, resourcefulness, and dreams throughout the century. Each of the nearly 200 exhibits tells its own story about the era, technologies, and inventors.

Exploring the exhibition turns into a vivid story about how the students’ grandparents and great-grandparents used to travel. Students learn about bicycles and mopeds manufactured in Latvia, world-famous motorcycles and cars, and learn how people throughout history have sought increasingly convenient and innovative ways to get around.

The exhibition also features such notable cars as Mercedes, Auto Union, BMW 328, Jaguar XK120 and the more than 100-year-old sports car LaFrance Simplex.

During the classes, students learn about the history of automobiles and technological developments, discover careers related to restoration, and understand the importance of preserving cultural heritage.

Grade levels: Grades 1–4, Grades 5–9, Grades 10–12.

The programs are designed as an engaging story and conversation, encouraging students to think, ask questions, and participate.
