1986. In [year], a completely new model was introduced: the DELTA moped (RMZ-2.124). The original frame and the successful two-speed V-50 engine were the DELTA’s main strengths. The shortcomings of its predecessors had been addressed. The V-501 engine’s gears could be shifted with the foot, a feature that was particularly popular with bikers. In small batches, the DELTA was produced with cast wheels and three-speed engines manufactured in Poland. The STELLA moped followed in the DELTA’s footsteps. It was equipped with an M-225 engine from the BABETTA moped. After the collapse of the USSR, in addition to this engine, engines from the Polish DEZAMET moped and the French PEUGEOT were also installed.
