The bicycle was manufactured at the largest bicycle factory in Latvia—“G. Ērenpreis,” located at 2 Brīvības gatve in Riga, which produced bicycles from 1927 to 1940.
In the production of “G.Ērenpreis Original” bicycles, the principle was fully applied of manufacturing all bicycle components in-house, rather than assembling them from purchased parts.
The “A” model bicycle is equipped with a pedal bearing design engineered and patented by Gustav Ērenpreiss, in which the right pedal arm cannot be removed from the axle, as well as the famous Ērenpreiss freewheel with an automatic brake.
